OMG Not the Lint! Anything but the Lint!

A review of little boy's knit pull on shorts culled from Walmart.com.  Yes I know, it really is almost too easy.

Lint!
02/22/2012
Only problem with these is the black shorts are lint magnets. After the first wash i had to take a lint roller to them because it was completely covered in a layer of lint.

She docked a piece of clothing (two pieces actually) two whole stars for lint.  My brain hurts a little now.

User Error = Inconvenience for others Part One

The following is a review of Clear Care Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution (2 X 16fl Oz Packs)
available on Amazon.com.  This is sort of a pet peeve of mine, people who are not quite bright enough to use the product they are reviewing in the first place who want to ruin it for everyone else.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too dangerous, FDA needs to pull it, November 12, 2011
This review is from: Clear Care Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution (2 X 16fl Oz Packs) (Health and Beauty)
This product is sold in a regular contact solution bottle in the contact solution aisle, but it causes serious, burning pain if you use it the same way you have used contact solution for X number of years (for me it's 30 years). Marketing it the same way is irresponsible, and the FDA should either remove this product or force the manufacturer to change the packaging to something that is not at all similar, much less exactly, like hundreds of other solution that is safe for use in the eye.

So here is the deal:  This product actually does have multiple layers of warnings on it.  There is a bright red banner all the way around the box.  There is a bright red banner around each bottle.  Each bottle comes with a little red collar on it that you must remove in order to open the plastic seal.  Oh and it has a little red "nipple" looking spout.  All of these, with the exception of the spout, all state very clearly not to put this in your eye.  In bold white lettering.  On top of a red banner.

This guy was not even the only person to have complaints about there not being enough warning.  Sadly I think this entire line is now being discontinued.  This means that even though I and possibly thousands of other consumers have managed to look after ourselves just fine and use this product correctly and responsibly, we now have to find something else.  Gee thanks.
